Lost In A Corn Maze: A Fun-Filled Day Out For The Whole Family

Autumn is the perfect time to visit a corn maze! These fun-filled days out are great for families and kids of all ages. There’s nothing like getting lost in a corn maze and finding your way out again.
This year, I took my kids to one of the best corn mazes I’ve ever been to! It was located at Harbes Apple Orchard and what made it better than all the others is that it was totally interactive! All the major intersections had a question board with 4 possible answers, based on their Robin Hood theme. Depending on your answer, it would tell you if you should go left, right, straight, or back. My kids loved it! We got most of them right, but a few we ended up back at the sign and had to try again. Normally, you’re in a corn maze with no direction, just trying to find the way out through trial and error. This definitely made the whole experience a lot more fun!
A few years ago, we didn’t have many choices nearby, so we’d just go wherever we could find one. Corn mazes are so popular now that just about every farm near us has one. Some are really small and others can take you over an hour to find your way out. Definitely look for one that is a good size and level of difficulty for your family. If you have small kids, you don’t want to be walking around for over 40 mins. But how do you know which one is right for you?
Here are some things to consider when choosing a corn maze:
- The size of the maze
- The age of the kids
- The level of difficulty
- The time of day
Getting lost is part of the fun so remember to enjoy and don’t get frustrated.
There are so many benefits of getting lost in a corn maze! For starters, it’s a great way to spend time with your family and bond with each other. It’s also a great way to get some exercise, as you’ll be walking around the maze for a while. And finally, it’s a great way to test your navigation skills!
How to find your way out of a corn maze

It’s important to stay calm so you can think clearly. Next, take a look around and see if you can spot any landmarks that can help you orient yourself. If you see a sign or a path, follow it.
